    Your new role

    We are proud of our #OwnBrands! With them we cater to the special needs of our HoReCa customers. You might have tasted our delicious “Rioba” coffee, eaten an omlette cooked in our “METRO Professional” pans or enjoyed the wide range of food products itself that we offer under the brands “METRO Chef”, “Aro” and more!

    Now is the time to join the Own Brand Management Team as Expert Own Brand Management (f/m/d)! You will plan and support the strategic development of the respective brands, for customers and for the company. You will be our Brand Manager for all topics related to our Food Own Brands (for countries, center and external purposes).

    Where your expertise is needed:

    • You will be in charge for our brands Metro Chef, Metro Premium and Rioba. You work together with the countries to increase their own brand share for the respective brands.
    • You will collaborate closely with the Common Sourcing Department, especially for Products in the Fresh / Ultrafresh category - meaning Fruits & Vegetables, Meat and Fish.
    • Involvement in strategy definition for own brands with reference to positioning, offer territory and brand related manuals.
    • Secure consistency in product development and execution for all marketing mix aspects.
    • Brand development. Prepare and secure consistent implementation of communication campaigns to support the brand sales performance and the launch of new ranges/products.
    • Leadership for further establishing the brands positioning of own brands across channels through various communication tactics, together with countries and global teams.
    • Overseeing category development plans in relevant food categories, providing product expertise for the mainstream and premium segment while benchmarking with the market and customer needs.

    Profil
    • University degree in Business Administration, International Trade or another related subject with at least 2 years' work experience in Brand Management or Sourcing.
    • Competence in own brand strategy design and implementation.
    • Ideally professional Food product knowledge from Hospitality sector.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, strong customer, and market orientation.
    • Broad process knowledge across different departments.
    • Energetic and driven with a real hands-on approach to the job.
